He is Risen!

He is risen!

Oh, what glorious words.

He is risen!

He is not in the tomb.

He is not where He was laid as men thought it had all come to an end.

He is not where he was laid as men gave in to fear and despair.

He is not where He was laid as His enemies rejoiced.

He is not where He is laid as death was seen to be victorious.

He is not where He was laid, to be forgotten with the passing of time.

He is not where He was laid for His body to decay.

Praise God! He is not where He was laid.

He is not here.

He has risen.

He is risen.

And we who believe are raised with Him.

Raised with Him.

Our fears, our despairing, our defeat, our death are left with His grave clothes in the tomb.

For He is He who lives, who was dead, and behold! He lives forevermore.

We are in Him who death could not hold.

We are in Him whose victory has swallowed up death.

We are in Him who is the resurrection and the life.

No longer subject to the law of sin and death.

Because of three glorious words.

He is risen!

Forever living.

Forever victorious.

Forever to be praised.
